The hunting zone is located in the centre of the CAR at the south-east of Bamingui. It covers an area of 200,000 ha. In the north, it goes along the Bamingui-Bangoran National Park. As hunting is forbidden in the park and it is far away from the Chad and Sudanese borders, the zone is protected from poaching. It is therefore absolutely safe.
The zone is run by our guide Marcel TIRAN who has been on the site for six seasons. He and his team of 10 people watch the zone all year round.
